How do you change your number plate lamps on the Mercedes E-Class W211?

If you are searching to change only the bulbs you have a simple job. With a screwdriver you remove the plastic covers and you have access to the bulbs.

But changing the number plate lamps is a different job. You will need to remove “some” car trim.

You must:

• remove the reflective triangle & holder
• remove trunk lining
• remove number plate
• in the middle of the number plate frame you will have a screw that holds Element 1
• you should have access to the number plate lamps.
