BMW F30 LCI full screen carplay
The car is a 2016 model running a NBT Evo Media unit.
Software version: NBTevo_K17052l
To activate Full Screen Carplay we had to update the software level of the unit.
We performed a full iLevel Update from F020-17-03-505 to F020-20-03-540.
After the update we coded:
- Full Screen Apple CarPlay
- Screen Mirroring
- Video In Motion
- Changed layout from IDrive 5 to IDrive 6
Feedback from the owner:
Besides the added functionality of the Media unit, he was impressed with how smooth the automatic gearbox was changing the gears. It feels like a new car.
